Staff were extremely friendly and helpful in the hotel and breakfast room. Shout out to Michael who went above and beyond.
Food was great and I don’t impress easily.
Size and comfort of the room
Proximity to small beach with beds and waiter service (not connected to the hotel)

Such a great location for the stunning beach and restaurants. A smallish hotel with good facilities including a gym and small spa.
The S’Arenal Apartments are located in an unspoilt part of northern Ibiza. They enjoy views of the bay of Portinatx, and have direct access to the beach and free Wi-Fi.

Perfect location, clean and tidy. Wouldn’t hesitate to return!
With wonderful views over the Mediterranean and Ibiza Island, these smart apartments have private balconies. Take advantage of the complex’s swimming pool and restaurant with terrace.

The only thing we liked was the view and balcony over look the bay
Offering amazing sea views from its clifftop position and from its stylish rooms, this impressive hotel is located in Na Xamena, on Ibiza’s north coast.

The views are amazing… some of the best we’ve seen on the island but the property itself is tired and in need of major investment to bring it up to what they claim is a 5 star. The entire decor of our room was shoddy with light switches covered in paint and unfinished skirting boards, one of which stuck out from the wall and looked hazardous. I have seen complaints regarding cleanliness but I must add our room, sheets and bathroom was.
A major gripe was that when we booked I’d stated two adults and one child ( myself, my 23 year old daughter and my youngest at 16). On checking in we were advised that my youngest would be classed as an adult and so would have to have a bed made up in the room at a cost of 187 euros per night. This bed was smaller than a single bed and not at all comfortable. I struggled to comprehend that, even if we were a family of two with one child, we would be made to sleep in one bed.
It’s also off the beaten track so once you’re there, that’s it. The nearest town for anything you might need is a taxi ride away so if you’re not completely happy with the food served here, you’re stuffed. Myself and my two daughters went for a break last week, one of which is vegan and I have a gluten intolerance. We found the food very limited and sadly had a server at their only restaurant who was very curt when we asked if anything from the menu could be modified. We cut short our planned four day stay and checked into another actual 5 star hotel on the island.
I must add the reception staff were excellent, Lara especially, very accommodating and thankfully didn’t charge us for the remaining days.
Facing the beachfront, Grupotel Imperio Playa offers 4-star accommodation in Sant Joan de Labritja and has an outdoor swimming pool, fitness centre and terrace.

All of the staff were really friendly and helpful, especially the head waiter and the staff on reception. The housekeeping services were really good and it was an ideal location for us. Very good choices of food for breakfast and dinner.
Look out over the golden sands and clear waters of San Vicente Beach from this hotel. It is surrounded by some of the natural scenery on the island of Ibiza.

We recently had the pleasure of staying at this beautiful hotel with fantastic staff. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warm smiles and exceptional service. The hotel itself was stunning, with lovely rooms and amazing amenities. The staff went above and beyond to ensure that our stay was comfortable and enjoyable. They were attentive, friendly, and always willing to assist with any requests or inquiries I had. I was truly impressed by their professionalism and dedication to making our experience memorable. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone looking for a top-notch stay with outstanding staff.

Lovely small resort village in the northest part of Ibiza, nice choice for people our aged (30+). We found surprisingly good and hip restaurants such as Rebrots and Los Enamorados. Traditional italian restaurant Can Amuri by the beach was also nice. We rented a scooter to get to beautiful nearby beaches such as Cala Xarraca and Cala d’en Serra with an interesting unfinished hotel’s remains full of street art.

Everything outside of the hotel minutes away, perfect for slow walkers or those who can’t walk far. All on doorstep but hotel has everything anyway. Great beach, not too many hiking options apart from the lighthouse but if you really just want peace, read a couple of books and chill Portinaxt is the resort to go.

Fairly quiet and not too commercialised.
Fairly quiet and not too commercialised. Charges for beach loungers and umbrellas expensive. Safe swimming areas and clean water. Not over run with bars and restaurants…big plus.
Easy quick run to airport .
Beach needed cleaning more regularly.
There always seemed to be loud music somewhere, about time they stopped this as it’s not required and they also should ban smoking as it’s so anti social these days and should not be tolerated.

Portinatx is a lovely quiet town with really nice restaurants, bars and beaches. Plenty of variety for eating and drinking. Good shops for groceries. Beautiful views.
We were a group of 6, 3 couples and it was a perfect location for us. Buses to the clubs were cheap and easy, taxis back were also easy and not too pricey.

nice private beach, transparent water and nice reef, better than the other beaches i visited in Ibiza. ideal for family, mini club and activities for children. Buffet for breakfast very good and a lot of choice, dinner buffet can be improved, I would have expected more local/spanish food.
Very simple and functional apartments in gorgeous location - one of the most beautiful beaches in the north of Ibiza, not overly crowded, a volley ball net and enough space for families to play in the sand! very friendly and helpful staff. good value for money with amazing location. if you don’t want to prepare your breakfast every day you can have a very good continental breakfast in the small hotel next door.
The customer service of the apartments is excellent.
They fixed some pricing error from booking's side, and
they were super responsive and helpful at all times. On top of that, they were kind enough to adapt a bit my checkout time so I could leave a bit later.
Also, it's very easy to park if you come by car, and you can reach Portinatx's beach in 5 min on foot.
Was a last minute book as I extended my stay in Ibiza. I haven't seen the north of the island. This hotel was lovely and I would highly recommend. Has everything you need, private beach which was beautiful and a very close walk into the town with even more beautiful beaches. Would stay again for sure. Thank you
Amazing location. The rooms overlooked Portinatx bay with a little terrace each. The sea is really calm so the kids could splash around in the water safely. Breakfast was good and there are plenty of nice restaurants nearby like Rebrots and Los Enamorados.
Hotel was very clean with lovely helpful staff. Really good breakfast, so much choice, the beds were firm, but we had good sleep! Wellbeing classes and hikes were excellent, thanks Sofia!x Spa area good. Great location, lots of good local restaurants.
We had an amazing time! The hotel had just opened for the season and we were upgraded to a suite by the pool. The location is beautiful, the spa is gorgeous and the service was great. Highly recommend!
Food at the hotel was good, location was next to the beach and we were given a sea view room. Area was very quiet out of season so not much choice for restaurants at night. Lovely walks close by.
If you’d like to rest, this hotel is perfect choice but not for clubbing :( too far away to city. Perfect facilities useful staff. The restaurant near hotel simply amazing. Breakfast is awesome 👍
Nice location, with seaview. The appartment was huge und comfortable.
Supermarkets and restaurants in a walking distance. Defenetely i would stay here again when travelling to Portinatx :)
Love Portinatx and exploring the area on the top of the island. Thorough room clean and inclusive is good to have. Staff are great most of the time away from the reception team.
Owner Mamadou was fantastic, very welcoming. The location was great, very close to the small town of Portinatx, an easy 5 minute walk to the local beaches, bars and resteraunts.
Lovely laid back atmosphere, great place for families & couples. Clean apartments & well kept pretty garden/pool area. Friendly staff, very happy to help with any questions.
Beautifully located, with 2 pools and plenty of sunbeds, on a more quiet area of the island, ideal for couples. Nice walk to Portinatx Beach and restaurants. Good breakfast.
Beautiful hotel with excellent facilities in a great location. We booked another hotel for the second part of our trip but I just wish we could stay in Barcelo!
